Commented Unassigned: Microsoft Click-to-Run Office Programs not Listed [20]

Great software, thanks for writing it and offering it here.

When checking Installed Software on computers with Microsoft Office 2013 that was installed via a "Click-to-Run" type of install, the Office package is not listed.

On these computes "Office 15 Click-to-Run Licensing Component" and "Office 15 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component" are listed, but not the version of Office (Pro or Standard) or the individual programs included in the suite.

My understanding is that Office software installed in this manner is located in a different section of the registry.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\REGISTRY\MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\REGISTRY\MACHINE\Software\Microsoft

I could find these references:

Have you heard of this issue and/or plan on making a change for these installs?

Thanks

Matt

Comments: Hi mattreade, Looks like Codeplex woke up today and decided to send the notification about your issue. Anyway, I seem to remember this being visited in the past without a satisfactory resolution. The main issue is that it's a virtual install by so departs from well known interfaces such as MSI used to detect installed software. Thanks for the references. An update is available, please go the documentation page and download the v3.1.4, the link is near the top of the page. This update has better 32/64-bit registry searching for software. WinAudit can dump all the sotware related information it found, on the menu select View -> Software Information. A tab called "Software" should open which you can search (Edit -> Find). Is there anything related to Office 2013? WinAudit can also create a log file (Help -> Start Logging) then run the audit job. Click back onto the "Log" tab and scroll down to "Start Category 'Installed Software'. There will probably be a lot of registry related informational messages about 32/64-bit keys. Do you see any office related keys there? oldbury
